Had Texas been a nation, it would have definitely been known for having the world’s twelfth largest gross domestic product (GDP). Real estate investor and developer Marcus Hiles says that the Lone Star state has been successful because of less government regulation and commitment towards reduced spending patterns. “In the past decade an environment for businesses and citizens to prosper has been created by our leaders”, he adds. “During each session, the Legislature decreases spending further and we have no corporate or personal income tax.” He strongly recommends that other states should follow Texas’ ways.
